Description
Life is too short to wake up with regrets. So love the people who treat you right... Forget about the one's who don't. Believe everything happens for a reason. If you get a second chance, grab it with both hands. If it changes your life, let it. Nobody said life would be easy, they just promised it would be worth it.

your photos sometimes are paintings, this has a very painterly feel to it, the layers, the delicate areas of light, the sudden emergence of clarity & detail about 2/3 of the way up the water, etc etc. Yet it's wholly a photograph. The foreground & mountain background are almost 'thought' into the composition, and the hues---silvery blues & blues all tinged with a kind of peach-pink---are beautiful. This is a real Carin shot, because while you have many kinds, it has that intensity and inwardness that you get in a lot of the shots I've seen. Fine message too, to give to all your friends. I hope this day finds you well!

Ah, this is gorgeous! What a view! Indeed, life is too short, and this image is a perfect reminder of that! There's such beauty in the world and such grandeur that we really shouldn't waste our time on the mundane, especially if it's the useless mundane. I love this shot and the sentiment you've expressed because of something that I see whenever I look at slugs, wasps, woodlice, and a particular Russian: the fleeting nature of life is what makes it so important--moments once experienced never return, but what they leave behind and what we leave behind when we're fully engaged and fully happy, is what makes a difference! This image is proof of that! It's a joy to behold as much so as it was a joy for you to capture. There's a record of your peace, joy,and contentment in this and you've transmitted that! For me, this is one of the many things art does so well, and WOW...you've done it well here! Ha! And you didn't even resort to snails and slugs and woodlice to do it! Brilliant!
