Description
Kattegat is the north sea part of this spit, where I live. I went to the beach the other day, to take shots of the sea kale and I got some ok shots, but I also got the idea to try out the speedy shots on the water. I never tried, but after seeing Mark (anahata.c) wonderful splash morning shots, that I adore, I thought I could try that out myself. I am rather happy about my first results. Hope you like it too.

This morning began with alot of heavy clouds. Now it has lighten up and sun is shining nicely WOOHOO !

Helle, it's really beautiful. You got this wonderful balance between those big rocks and the delicate spray of the water. Your clarity on the spray is wonderful, and the rocks are so clear (as are the beautiful hues on the lower rocks---it looks like a tide pool). As is the water behind them, a delicate capture of sea water. A lovely and caring shot of a great sight, and I like that you got the white waves on top to harmonize with the spray; and that you got some white caps on the bottom too. This is something for me to work towards. And thanks for mentioning me, I'm honored! (One day I'll post some of the wave-shots I got too early---I got 1000s of those! You'll all get a good laugh, believe me.) A scintillating & delicate shot all around.

What a shot! I love the way water forms very short-term sculptures that most people don't even have a chance to see! I love the clarity and the light in this, and your experimentation and patience have paid off perfectly! This is an amazing shot! I like the fact that it seems alive, and maybe it's just me, but that splash looks like a rather happy amoeba! Ah, maybe that's just me (and yes, I think amoebas are cute!) This is gorgeous, Helle, truly gorgeous! You and Mark should both photograph Lake Michigan! I'd love to get photos of you two doing that!!!
