Description
These are poppies of some sort... looking them up it seems they might be opium poppies but I could be wrong. Either way they're just starting to bloom and hopefully within a week or so the fields near to this area will be about ready for their annual explosion into a patchwork of colour. I'm looking forward to it :)
Shot taken on Sunday late on a beautiful summer solstice afternoon in rural Oxfordshire.
