Hi, My name is Bill and I am updating my homepage to reflect a wonderful event in my life...marriage, September 18, 2010, to my best friend Tara...known to many of you as auntietk here on Renderosity.
We "met" shortly after I joined Renderosity in August 2008. We share a love for photography and indeed all types of art.
We live north of Seattle and enjoy getting to share photographic excursions and information with other Renderositians ( is "Renderositians" even a word? ). LOL
As for me, it seems like I've been taking pictures all my life but I didn't get serious enough to purchase my first Digital Single Lens Reflex (DSLR) camera until May 2008. In May 2009 I upgraded from an Olympus E-510 to an Olympus E-30 with a wide variety of lenses.
My subject areas of interest include absolutely everything but with a frequent return to airplanes, cars, tanks, etc., ...or as Tara says, machines that make lots of noise;-)
If you are curious, I am pictured above in a Grumman Corsair on a taxiway of the Kansas City Downtown Airport. I used to fly and train others to fly airplanes. That will explain my frequent forays into the world of aviation. Last but by no means least, thanks to Pannyhb for introducing me to Renderosity. The moment I saw it I was hooked.
Fine print: Yes, the photo above is a photo manipulation:-)

What a milestone! I have yet to get anywhere near 700, but I'm gonna keep at it. My 100-mark marks often creep up on me. Ah, but this is a perfect way to celebrate 700 and look forward to 700 more! I've done nothing with RAW yet, but I suspect I will, once I get off of this Fibonacci-slime kick. Yeah, it rained today so I don't need to tell anyone how many snail shots I got! Anyway, this isn't about snot shots, this is about your gorgeous collage! It's great seeing so many memorable pieces you've done all assembled into one piece of work, and what a gorgeous piece of work it is!

Congrats on 700! Rendy is VERY addictive and I'd love to be posting more, but without a regular Internet connection I'm a bit hamstrung at times. I love your body of work and always enjoy your comments, my friend. Again, congrats, and here's to 700 more.

I've heard of RAW for a while now and really need to get around to checking it out. I know I have a round tuit somewhere. I did buy a canon rebel for dummies, but unfortunately you have to actually read it to get benefits from it. (At this point I have to first find it.) Great collage! Congratulations on 700! Wonderful images! My fav is the birdies! Renderosity is very addictive. As is digital photography with its lack of any kind of restraint on extreme multiplicity of shots. You have an excellent gallery. I like these reviews!
