Description
These wormlike threads form obvious fractal patterns from above. From this view, there's nothing pretty about them. They seem a menace to the center red form...also a fractal. These are xenodream objects rendered for ever-and-a-day in bryce as a depth of field experiment. Trying to learn this rendering aspect with imported mesh objects increases the rendering time exponentially. This one took nearly 2 days.

Well, I dunno, but I think that central red piece is beautiful. It's obvious there's an invasion going on here, looks like worms to me. Wonder if worming meds would do the trick here. Maybe it would cut the render time too, giggles, ya know? Dead worms don't take as long to render. Of course the live worms are so much more interesting. I really like this .. it's very cool. But the render times would drive me insane.
