Description

Wait, a full service station? With leaded gas? Woah... Oh yeah, this is set in the eighties. It's not often we see HELEN without her makeup. I think she looks better with it on, actually... Ahh, the embarrassing moment when your young friends find you at your summer job! This leads me to a question: if you have a friend, an actual friend, who works at a job that relies on tipping... say, a waitress - no wait! a VALET... do you tip your friend? Do you hand them the tip? Do you tip more or less than you would a stranger? How do you deal with the awkward moment? I mentioned starting a series but I wanted to do some 4th of July things first and didn't want to split the series up. So expect a few one-shots before I start an "arc" after the holiday! THANKS to Grimmley for the free gas pump prop!!

Great scene! as for the tipping, I would tip them (and have) what they are due (15% to 20%). Money is money and you do the best at whatever job you have. It looks good in the future

I've never been in that position either way. I was too stupid to get a job. So were my friends.

That's a great series and some good questions. Fortunately I am well beyond the summer job problem.
