Profound, the oil leak unabated is scary! I believe this could be the straw that breaks a lot of people. Choose to ignore this, "It's not happening to me", fool yourself! You will remember the precious state of before the oil, wish it could be good again, nu-ff said... Paul

Great image! Everyday it's something different with the oil spill. The fish, the beaches and people out of work because of it. When will it all end.

Whats really a shame is, there is nothing in a oile well you cannot get out of a sewage lagoon. Hydrogen, carbon... hydrocarbons... gasoline... duh... It all boils down to control freaks afraid of loosing control over other people lives.

Can't anyone kick Obama in the butt so HE starts doing something more than bash BP. They have at least been trying - I doubt if they don't care, as they're BIG loosers too (money and public relations, etc.). Obama refused help from Shell early in the crisis because they were a foreign company (why would THAT disqualify them?). This catastrophe could have been stopped early. Very well made image. I like the contrast - gasoline driven plane, wind driven boat. :)

Yes it's a catastrophe. But your fractal is making a wonderful image showing us here. What a contrast, to make such beauty out of that oil-mess, Cheryl!

the oil in the gulf is like states catching on fire - it takes mother nature YEARS TO GET IT TO LOOK RIGHT AGAIN... If Ford could see into the future, do you think he still would of build the car? I wouldn't have.

Beautiful image relating to a immeasurably catastrophic situation. I have stopped listening to daily reports and check on-line weekly. The daily reports were crushing my spirits. There will be a long legacy of despair to these events. I hope we at least turn a corner to finding better energy sources. Excellent image!
