Last year I started my third period of photography after fifteen years silence.I began in the analog eighties and took primarily slides with my Pentax MX until it broke. Then, in the early nineties, I started digital photography with a very simple Logitech Fotoman. It was easy to operate because the camera didn't have any features except a flash! The surprise came ofcourse when I first downloaded pictures on my computer. The ease of working digitally convinced me. Still, after a few years, my interest declined.Until last year when I took a chance to work with a compactcamera, seeing other peoples work. In the end I bought a new camera myself. Eversince I can't imagine living without a camera.

Beautiful shot. Doesn't "Slot" translate as palace rather than castle? A castle is for defense a palace is for beauty. This mill is beautiful, though the people living around it, when it was new probably thought of it as noisy, smelly and ... like they think about modern windmills today. y. Again a good shot on a beautiful sunny day.
