Description

The Georgetown Loop Trestle was originally built in the 1880's. The narrow valley and the steep rise from Georgetown to Silver Plume, Colorado, required a large loop in the narrow valley to keep the grade at 4% or below. Today a new trestle provides the same experience for tourists who come up to ride the trains.

Very dynamic shot! The perspective is great, and you kept definition on the background clouds. Well done!

Great shot, dramatic angle, good focus. Was it standing still, as there's no steam from the cylinders and no motion blur? Were you up in a tree or lying on some support? Looks like pretty dangerous location to get the perfect photo. Good job! :)

I find trains so fascinating. This is a primo shot of an old time ride. Only thing that would make it better is a massive plume of smoke. But you can't control that. Really nice shot here. I would be happy with this one.
