Description

This is Milo for M4. I've been working on him for a while now. So, I'd thought I'd show what I have so far. I hope you like him. (This is just the base texture, no bump, spec, SSS, or displacement maps were used.) NO POST WORK.

"Both critical and non-critical comments are welcomed." I am very supportive and enthusiastic to this pioneer work in older more mature models which I think is very important for the survival of Poser art as such and it is perhaps wrong of me to comment on something that is not finished! But, I think it is very important that even the older models are attractive. After all no one does homely young models?, they are always beautiful! Or perhaps you think that older people can not be beautiful? The skin tone is very good and realistic everything is fine except that he is not handsome enough!

i disagree with you vintorix, only amateurs go for beauty only. If you can not see the beauty in a less model like person, you'll definitely need to learn how to look. This is a nice old man. realistic, lifelike and with a good texture. Anybody can make a so called beauty with any of the DAZ or Poser figures. Very few really manage to make their figures life like.

I agree with Helleshoi. Poser needs some more normal people. Yes, it's possible to mess with the dials to create a more normal shape, but it takes an artist to make the texture look realistic. And it also takes an artist to use a figure like this to create something interesting.

He looks like a real person with little imperfections, not like a fahion model whose photos are retouched to make them perfect. All those lines were earned & tell a story! He is wonderful!

I feel that to have more photo-realistic models, you have to show the 'plain' folk as they are. Anyone who relies on surface beauty to get through life is in for a rude awakening. The beauty of this man is the life he led to get to this point. A most handsome gentleman.
