Description

I've been sorting out my portfolio and decided to post some of my earlier work with Bryce2. This piece is about 3years old. I'd still appreciate comments though!!!!

The leaf, from a castor oil plant, was photographed with a traditional camera and then scanned. I then made a simple terrain and mapped on the photo, added a subtle specularity and bumpmap.I then added a few spheres as drops of water. The leaves in the top left corner are again photos but this time just wrapped onto a squashed sphere. And the lilly leaves, top right, are also photos but just placed in as picture objects. Unfortunately I cant re-render at a larger size cos 3 years ago i had no CD-burner and so didn't save used Bryce files. So WYSIWYG!!!! I'm thinking about doing some similar work soon.Thanx for your comments!

Oh, and the DOF was done by making a render of the background scene, applying a Gaussian blur in Photo-Magic and loading back into the scene as a picture object and positioning in the background.
