Description

http://louisianacemeteryadvocate.com/id9.html this is Louisiana law here Sweet Olive Cemetery is listed and this is where these bones are at. When I go back to Baton Rouge I going to try to go to these other graveyard in baton Rouge. it on the corner of N 22nd and North Blvd it a sad fact here but I was reading or someone told me the in New Orleans the blacks and poor whites was bury ouside of New Orleans and as the city grow it just build on top ot the dead and there is streets you just driveing on top of dead people. Just a thought next time you in New Orleans. my son posted all photos taken that day on facebook here http://www.facebook.com/album.php?id=696760922&aid=219994&s=0&hash=19d0857228c3f9c6b73a9b7a296dbff3 it a joint effect here on our part. Photos all mix up up most is his on this site. Shows the mouth open and all the teeth is showing. Here a link to a clean up guess it was after we was there http://www.mormontimes.com/article/8902/Painting-houses-smiles-on-faces-in-Baton-Rouge I be going there later on in the summer and will bring my cameras and try to go to the two graveyards that is talked about in the Cemetery Hall of Shame this be my last photo of the Cemetery as I say most is his photos. How could the graveyard get this way? I see by the flowers that some people still care. Super capture Jock :)

if you do m0ve a bone for photo please use a piece of paper to handly it. Best not to move it in the first place lol. hope no law was broken but if it was not moved the lawnmore would have cut it up.

Great capture! City on top of grave yards, sounds like Paris, knew there was a French influence there. ;D

It is amazing that this has happened and no one is attempting to fix it. Just looked at the photos your son took also and was so blown away. Thanks for sharing this with us Jock

Wow, is that a beatup grave site! What a mess! Where are the maintenance men? Is this what happened after Katrina? And, after some close study, I finally saw the bone on top of the casket, or whatever they call it. It looks scorched on top. Anyway, cool capture of the grave goings-on down in Louisiana, Jock.
