My name is Tara, and I was born and raised in Washington State.
Â
In 2010 I married Bill (bmac62) and retired ... two of the best choices I ever made! :)
Â
In March, 2013, we sold our home in Washington and went on the road in our RV full time. What a blast! There is so much world out there to see!
After traveling around the West for a few years, we got rid of the motorhome and are now spending winters in deep-south Texas and summers in Washington State. Spring and fall finds us visiting whichever place strikes our fancy at the time!

Great shot, Tara!

Beautiful flower, slightly creepy shadow considering the location. Well done.

Cosmos are great. I love planting the seeds and watching it shoot to the sky!

Such a simple flower with so much to say--great shot!!
Cosine
I just downloaded a copy of this and tried it as selective color, with the blossom being the only thing that had any color. But it didn't work, the blossom didn't have enough color to pull it off. What you've done is better; good job, my friend.

really like the shadow crawls under the cosmos Tara. Your work always leads to a story to tell and with the setting in a graveyard.........oh my.

Lovely shot of this cosmos, Tara. Looks like there are plenty of possibilities there by the looks of those shadows!

Intriguing. That is one pristine cosmos. Good comments above reference the fact that many of your shots leave us looking for more behind the hint you've given us...more, more:)

Beautifully done, and this POV makes it look huge. Is it as large as it seems? ;c) It's hard to get white, sometimes.

What a photo! Shadows often reveal so much more than you'd expect, and the photographic possibilities are endless! I love the intensity of this and the sharp clarity of the light! Yeah, this is another one of those Tara-goodies I like so much!
