Sand Sculpture, The Hague (Den Haag), Buitenhof. June 29 - August 27 2010. Thanks for all nice comments, your views and the favs. Some friends have questions about camera etc. It's Nikon D70, zoom lens Nikkor AF-5 18-70 mm. I sharpened the photos with option "sharpening" or "more sharpening" of Paint Shop Pro 9 (after bringing the format to 1200 pixels horizontally). No further corrections. The conditions for making pictures of sand sculptures were ideal on Wednesday June 23th, early in the afternoon. Today the sculptural representation of "The Milkmaid" of Johannes Vermeer (1632-'75). On the background the Van Baburen we saw earlier.
