Hi, I'm Marilyn. Â I've been posting here on RR for a few years now and thought it was time to update my profile. Â It's been wonderful learning so much from the amazingly talented people here. Â I've had the chance to meet many in person and some have become great and good friends. Â Starting with a Kodak Brownie camera when I was about 7 or 8, moving up to Instamatics, Polaroids, then the Pentax K1000 that really got me on the way, I've been looking at the world thru a lens for a long time. Â Got the bug honestly; my dad was a photographer and gave me the gene!! Â Digital changed the world and I jumped in with both feet. Â You would've gone thru 100's of rolls of film in one day the way we can shoot and delete all day long. Â Progess...it can be awesome sometimes.
At any rate, RR rocks, the talent is over the top and I'm just gonna keep on shooting!!
Thanks for looking and keep those cameras rollin'!!
peace.....marilyn

Thank you, Mae West! One of her most favorite lines, along with "why don't you come up and see me sometime." Superlative clarity and masterful handling of the reds and reflections in this marvo macro, Maz@

These are fantastic! They bring back memories of those crazy days in Prague. Pavl and I managed to pop out of the city for a bit because he found a place to pick wild raspberries. I think they were overgrowth from a farm that was no longer there...but anyway, we went and gorged ourselves on them...we took a bunch back to Prague too, and ate them with cream. How funny that one single picture brought all of that spiraling back...but that's a good thing, and this is a marvelous photo! I love the redness and the texture of the berries themselves...I love just looking at them in general...they're so pretty!
