Nella foto di oggi vediamo l�amica Macaone in una delle pose esibite in occasione del nostro incontro di quelche giorno fa. Domenica mattina l�ho visto nuovamente , ma con l�erba umida non si posava e l�ho perso di vista . Ho deciso di andare via , tanto , in quelle condizioni, era difficile fare foto e il sole era già alto. Da non credere : il macaone stava volando sopra la mia auto sulla strada posandosi su un ramo a 50 cm dalla stessa. Abbiamo tacitamente concordato per la prossima volta.
In today's picture we see her friend in a Machaon poses exhibited on the occasion of our meeting Quelch days ago. I saw it again Sunday morning, but the wet grass and I rested not lost sight of. I decided to go, so in those conditions, it was hard to take pictures and the sun was already high. Do not believe: the swallowtail was flying over my car on the road coming to rest on a branch at 50 cm from it. We have tacitly agreed for next time.
Il Macaone (Papilio machaon LINNAEUS, 1758) è una farfalla della famiglia delle Papilionidae, famiglia prevalentemente tropicale, di cui solo 9 specie presenti in Italia.
The swallowtail (Papilio Machaon Linnaeus, 1758) is a butterfly of the family Papilionidae, mostly tropical family, of which only nine species in Italy.
Adult
With nearly 8 inches of wingspan rule, it is not difficult to meet and notice it especially in the countryside or in the hills early spring (the period when pupae flicker), until late autumn.
Caterpillar
The caterpillars are green with yellow rings dotted with blacks.
Biology
The caterpillars feed on Apiaceae, such as fennel and carrots.
If disturbed, evaginate from behind the head a couple of horn-shaped glands (osmeterium), emitting an odor repellent that keeps predators.
Stylish and agile in flight, the male is also a defender of its territory, if you happen to see two circling neighboring daring stunts, probably one is trying to oust the other.
Even the swallowtail butterfly has the typical behavior hilltopping, or try to fly above the highest point of land is located in (domain).
Distribution
It riviene meadows and marshes of Europe, temperate Asia and Japan, and is also found in arctic or subarctic regions of Canada and the United States

Distorsione di velocità! La farfalla e voi splendidi hanno bloccato tale particolare incrediblely fine. L'illuminazione è perfetta ed i colori realmente si levano in piedi fuori.
