These days I'm creating art on the fly. I don't have a particular style and I'm all over the place with subjects or themes. I like the randomness of my art because it reflects how my imagination works. Thanks for dropping in and viewing, liking and providing comments on my art, they're all very much appreciated.

I like this. There are several reasons why it works for me. Successful and appealing profiles require much more than changing a camera angle. First: not all faces shine from the side. Rio is a classic beauty, yet I would not have recognized her if you did not note this. She's definitely your Rio in this portrait. & She is quite striking from this perspective. Something else important about profiles is expression. Often we see profiles which are merely studies of a face from the side. Since the whole face cannot be seen, it appears, some folks leave off bothering to invest their character with emotion. Here, you have infused Rio with a subtle smile and lift of the face that indicates a tender joy within. She does, indeed, glow and enchantingly. Composition is also important in a profile; too often all we see is a square framing of the head. What you have done with her hair is draw the attention of our eyes right where it belongs: upon her lovely face. The direction of the lines of her hair style gently guide our eyes. At last it is the lighting which completely wins me over. Yes, it "glows' but not in a heavy-handed manner. The light is a caress and fills the overall image with warmth. It is still She that glows .. and this glow radiates from her cheeks (nice touch!). The primary light is supportive not dominant, a finishing detail which works exceptionally well. That all these elements and aspects are blended with subtle craft makes this a classic profile. No one feature competes with another, they each combine to produce a cohesive visual experience. Well done! I would be very interested in seeing any future portraits, if you are so inspired to create them. With warm regard, Terry
