Description

This is a Boulenger's Snouted Tree Frog that was photographed in the Atlantic Region of Costa Rica (Sarapiqui). Most frogs, with the exception of poisonous tree frogs, are nocturnal in Costa Rica, so this photo was taken in complete darkness. A flashlight was used to back-lit the frog which was resting on a leaf. Hope you like the effect. Thanks for the visit!
