Description
I shot this one some years ago, when I still was the proud owner of a Mavica. Location: somewhere inside Yellowstone State Park. Time: early summer, when animals were still around to be seen, and hadn't yet been annoyed by too many tourists and too hot weather and forced to take refuge in the most far away, hidden corners of the park to have some peace. Year: I can't remember.
What I remember is that I came face to face with this moose almost suddenly. While a lobe of my brain instructed my eyes and hands to take most pictures I could, the other lobe frantically summed up what scraps of information I had about mooses. Such as that the hoof is as big as my head, that they can move as fast as a fast train, etc. This moose, however, didn't bother to demonstrate whether my opinions were true. He looked at me with infinitely bored eyes, munched some tender leaves, then sauntered off dignifiedly. A lesson in style.
Thanks for your kind comments.

Excellent addition to your Hide and Seek series! He looks huge! I'm not surprised one part of your brain was questioning your strategy as you stood there taking shots. Great photo and very fun narrative!
