Description

Minzaron is the primary kingdom that I've developed so far. When I was young I called it Samaraqual'ya, but over time that name began to bug me (mostly because it sounds like a combination of Sumer and something Tolkienish)....anyway, after a time I renamed it, changed its history, and made it something new. Not sure if the borders are confusing. Red is a national border, while blue defines the borders of territories, in this case, the baronies of Minzaron. The list of the baronies is Iaubellen, Hyaurmer, Callault, Ibrayaron, Vraffeawe, Sabaron, Bausjoc, Faussen, Sjaubhon, Hlaubrusj, Caurche, Husjren, and Asjinasjor. The quotes around certain names denotes my dissatisfaction with them, and the fact that I'll eventually be replacing them..... Anyway, thanks for looking!

For a Fantasy map this is an exceptionally detailed map. I have not seen such detail in any map belonging to any fantasy story. But be ware! If you want to get the story in print or what ever media you choose, get away from the petty details and get the story going! No reader/watcher is ever going o have a look at such details as different colors on borders, unless he has a good reason to do in the story, which follows this map.

I had been wondering of you had a map of some sort. I find it essetial fpr writing to have my landmarks straight, also where a lot of the action is taking place quite in depth. Looks like you are into it with both feet. Keep going!

I agree with Ash888, it's really important to have a map. I wrote a book and made the map about half way into it, had to re-write whole chapters! I love your map, but they do have a way of evolving...!

Always enjoy a good fantasy world map. Have drawn a few myself. The more thought put into them the earlier usually is a help to the story telling. Add all the details you want. It has to be first and foremost a working map for your story, so the more details the better. One never uses all the details in the actual story, of course. But then, I expect you know all this very well. Grin.
