Description

I found it strange that this momma Sparrow was feeding a bird larger then her? It cant be her chick, Must be one of those cow birds that lay eggs in other nest or something. Could not get a clear view :(

Interesting shot and cow birds are a big problem here they over rule the feeders and run off all my really neat birds just wish they would go away.

Birds will frequently feed the young of other species. I've seen it so many times. The young just need to flutter their wings in a certain way and the food comes pouring their way.
