Happy Birthday Schonee (yesterday)!
We used to pick these, split the stem and put the two sides into different colored water (just added food color) and watch the flower "magically" turn the two colors, half the flower would go blue and the other red or what ever colors the water was. Hey it was a fun project for us as kids. :-)
