Description

It's not traditionally correct Mayan but that is what Powerage's outfit inspired me :) Done with Poser 8 and Photoshop CS4 and for the first time, a Wacom tablet which I purchased a couple weeks ago. I'm slowly learning and the only thing visible here, compared to previous images, is that I actually painted the floating strand of hair lol I usually use PSD hair layers but this one is mine :) Credits: Outfit is Battle Art R4 by Powerage. I added some of the feathers from the headdress to the outfit. Pose and shoes are from Aery Soul Necklace by fabiana Headdress from Daz Aztec brushes by DusterAmaranth at DeviantArt Structure brushes by Nathie at DA Weeds and vine brushes by deviney The column/statue is from RDNA and was also rendered in Poser Yaana by moonbunnie Skyla hair by outoftouch and Bice combined with some other hair and retouched and the rest painted by me Background by me Thank you for your comments and support, much appreciated :)

Outstanding. I like her gentle pose and the lighting really accentuates the softness of the image. Great job on the hair painting, it's one of the hardest things for me to do.

Wonderful model and wonderful pose! I also like the expression in her face! The hair is magnificent, the Wacom was well worth its money.

Your backgrounds are so lovely. Painterly and inspiring, which puts the character out front, but adds setting without it being distracting to the subject. Really well played each and every time!

I very much like the outfit you have created with the different parts of sets. I love the subtle background. With the small amount of hair painting that you've done in this, I am very excited to see more pictures with hand painted hair from you!! I can bet you will completely fall in love with the Wacom <3 I perhaps would have added a bit more lighting to the lady to make her stand out a bit more (or maybe just specular), but I still compliment you much on this image. ;) Very lovely and tremendous job!

Wonderful BG. Beautiful model and outfit. Nice job on the painted strand. The foot placement, however, is a bit too demure and modern for her. Depicts shyness and innocence where it would seem there should be strength and knowledge. My understanding of Mayan culture is there was not much place for shyness and innocence save for the very young, which she is not. Minor imperfection only. Still, I love her anyway.
