ummmm....we called them "Sweat Bees" when I was little, at least that's what My dad called them! They don't sting, just want to hover, and land on ya!

Neat photo of the little guy! I think they're actually part of the same sub-species as houseflies, but I'm certainly no expert on insects. I just know they make fascinating photography subjects. ;-D

that's known as the hornacaleptice hornet - it can sting you reapeatedly and eventually your skin will turn a yellow color then slowly fade in areas to black... before long, you'll want to suck your friend's neck to suck out honey - lol.... how far did you get before you realized I was joking - lol... I want to know who's hand that is... it looks young and unused - lol... I probably have a story to tell for all the little nicks and scars on my hands - lol
