Thank you for comments on my previous graphic!

Gone with the wind...
From a favorite movie
I had in mind the brave souls facing the oil in the Gulf, the lives of whom are changed forever.
Many things change, it is difficult to get the full impact when you are living it.
I pray for a swift recovery, but my realist side tells me that it wont be!

I think you're right about that. We really have no Idea how bad it will get, wait until it starts raining oil and toxins inland and when, notice I say when not if, a Hurricane sucks it up and spits it out 100s of miles inland. The Gulf Coast may be in a battle for life itself and not just clean beaches, it could become a wasteland, all the while DC sits there sucking air and doing nothing. Shoves Soapbox to the side and walks away shaking head mumbling "and I voted for him"..... Peace Oh yeah, nice job man

Love the character and the concept. I think a lot of us have strong feelings about the effects and outcomes of the gulf. I encourage all to keep posting no matter how futile it may seem. It isn't. This stuff spreads across the net in ways we can never imagine. Momentum is gained for a better tomorrow. NICE JOB and a truly great render. Get better soon!!!!!!!

I hope the hospital stay proves worthwhile. Good luck. And about the Gulf disaster, I wonder how many people appreciate that amount of toxic gases that are escaping into the atmosphere -- not to even mention the millions of gallons of Corexit dispersant that been sprayed on the oil slick to keep it hidden at lower depths. That stuff is lethal to plants and animals. The way the US government and BP are handling this situation is a crime. I think we've only begun to see the damage. Superb image.

This one I find very interesting, forlorn almost a certain sadness of being but also a renewed strength in each return. The coloring and the way it was laid out is near perfect to transmit the feelings it does. Nicely done.
