Spitfire by Bazze. BOB Spitfire texture by Neiwil (Neil) available free here... http://www.sharecg.com/pf/full_uploads.php?pf_user_name=neiwil Pity you can't add sound. If you are an aviation fan and the engine sound of one of these doesn't give you goosebumps there is something seriously wrong with you lol. Thanks for looking. Emil.

You are so right about the sound of that beauty! Excellent scene and mood creation.

Lovely work, as you say you can almost hear that merlin.

Stunning image mate....there are lots of period photo's similar to this and most have a church in the background.I wonder if there was a concious intention to put satallite airfields near cemeteries???. This catches the mood perfectly, well done.

Excellent, as always when you work with a British Victory Spirit!

Excellent image with this superb model! I have the sound of a Merlin as the start-up sound on my PC - much better than the default offering!! Bernie

I've never had the pleasure of hearing a Spitfire, but fully agree with Texboy's sentiment. Excellent render!

Beautifully done Emil, you can almost feel the overwhelming sound of the merlin, over the british country side. Then you can hear the phone ringing at operations because your pilot was flying to low. I know... flight of fancy, but well done never the less. What grass do you use in vue & how did you mask the canon from the Mk Vc to make it look like a late Mk II.

Looks great Emil...we have a B-25 doing a lot of flying around the local area (north Seattle) of late...it sounds fantastic. Those big WWII radial engines always give me goosebumps. But then there are the big watercooled jobs in the Spits and Mustangs...more music to the ears:)

Nice job Emil, looks like a forced landing though. The farmer ain't going to like a Spit ruining his nice crops!
