HMS Ocean classed as an amphibious assault ship leaving Devonport and off to the Eastern seaboard of North America to take part in exercise Auriga.

My son was in the navy, and I can recall pictures like this of them all line along the ship, ready to sail out.. great photo.. Happy 4th !
