Beautiful color and depth with he old tree stump and the dead leaves. But then we also have new fresh vegetation in the background. The king is dead, long live the king!

What a wonderful shot! That is some root system that tree had and now they look so smooth from being weathered. Love views of the woods like this, where life and death are constantly going on.
