Description
The Satin Bowerbird from Australia builds a avenue bower of twigs and plant materials during the breeding season. He decorates his bower with bright things both natural and man made that he collects. He is particularly fond of anything blue but also uses brown and yellow.
This is all to attract a female. A female visitor triggers a striking visual and vocal display by the male. He holds an ornament in his bill and performs a routine of strutting, bowing and flinging open his wings as he dashes back and forth across the avenue entrance vocalizing to her. During the season, he may mate with several females.

Great job and the explanation is very helpful. Ken is now the official "bird man", I think. :O)
