Nice photo. I use to fly an ultralight Skyfox Gazelle until I was grounded by my home mortgage. Sigh! I knew a glider pilot once that told me he takes fuel with him on the aircraft. I said what fuel does a glider need? He said a Chocolate bar and a can of Coke. LOL. Interesting red angle of attack indicator ;-)

Last time I flew was in a Cessna 1949 four seater and we took off and landed on a grass runway. Best ride to breakfast I had in my lifetime. Only thing about the plane I was in, there was no view until you were up and level. Also the rotary engine leaked a bit of oil....rendering the glass not worthy of trying to take a photo through. Excellent shot!

How very cool!! Makes me want to take flying lessons.

Approach? They've got killer brakes on that thing if they can get it down from there ... lol (but I'm strictly a propeller guy). Looks more like a hi-speed (glider style hi-speed) pass. Looks like a blast! great shot!

Nope, it's coming down - photo is taken just before he deployed the airbrake, coming in steep over the treeline. A few seconds later we landed doing less than 30, nice and smooth.

Great Work...Love the POV.

Never been in a glider, but that looks GREAT!! My favorite flight ever was in a two-seater side-by-side ultralight. Touched down like a feather.

I am a long time light plane pilot...must try taking a ride in a glider one of these days. Great view.
