Description

Throttle-up and Separation. As sensors in the fuel tanks of the huge super booster indicate the 90 seconds fuel remaining mark, the Hercules nine engines throttle-up to 110%. At exactly the same moment the series of explosive blots which join the Cocoon to the Hercules Super Booster fire to allow the separation of the payload from the booster. As the Hercules nine engines fade and die from lack of fuel, the Cocoon now free of the huge boosters mass hurtles onward toward orbit.
