Description

Is it a bouy...? Is it a ball...? No - it is a boat! Yep, at the V&A Waterfront you can bob around the marina in a motorised soccer ball! World Cup fever! Just for information the docked red ship in the background is the SA Agulhas, South Africa's polar research vessel. She is used to service the three SANAP research bases in the Southern Ocean and Antarctica as well as various research voyages. The motorised catamaran on the right is the ferry returning from Robben Island. Have a great Monday, Clive

WOW - 3 birds with one stone! I have seen the Agulhas on film footage and pictures but never in real life! Really wish I could!!! The ferry - been there, done that, got the t-shirt!!! Luckily it was a wonderful day with barely any swells when I visited Robben Island! Now the Soccer Ball Boat - insane, but innovative!!! It is so cool and I can see a child face peeping out!!! Wonderful capture full of interesting things Clive!
