Description

Back in the 1940’s a structure was built in the Upper Laurentian Mountain Range, located in the Province of Quebec. At the time and through the end of the 1950’s the Lodge catered to the elite the wealthy, especially “Americans” who frequented the Lodge especially for it’s beauty and solitude. Fishing trips where also part of the agenda. As time past things changed, and by the time the 1960’s rolled in the place now catered to the middle class. The Lodge was never modernized, but it was well maintained. It’s attraction was it’s remoteness and structural charm. The location was indeed very beautiful. Disaster occurred in the late 1970’s. A fire started in the kitchen as the story goes, and the Lodge burned to the ground. It, was never re-built, but in remains in my memory as a place I had the opportunity to visit in my mid 20’s as a newly Wed.

This is very colorful, interesting, beautiful and heart warming George. This turned out great. Nice background also. Wonderfully written. The lighting is perfect. I really love the colors. You put in a lot of work. Really farout image. Huggs... Silkylady...

oh how cool George..it looks like it would have been a fantastic place in the real world. think you did extremely well here with the architecture. i wouldn't mind a vacation there :)

awwwwwwww--serene, quiet,beautiful places like this are always calling me to get away and rest away from all the city noise to bad thisoneis gone but take a trip to Montreal folks go to up to the mountains you will find lovely places there George you brought it back to life fantastic render wow~
