Taken at Ketring Lake in Littleton, Colorado. This night Heron was walking along the rocks of the lake before he flew off.
Looks like he is almost part of a Turkey throwing contest.

Heron Launch - Thought you referring to a new type of sport shooting - Rather than yelling pull - Hear one would yell Launch and a terrified Heron like this is flung wildly flailing into the air - you must admit this guy looks like he’s rethinking this whole flying idea ! Quit a capture !
