Description
The walls were often covered with these shingles..shaped wooden tiles..especially on the older buildings. I think this is the same house with the garland on the door....it was one of the oldest in this Voralberg village.

I can imagine how quick it would burn if it was to catch on fire. shingles cut like this are very expensive here and not easy to find.cool shot
