Description

Cassandra, the cat girl, decided to check out the new shooter’s bar that just opened downtown. Mind you, she wasn’t quite sure what a “shooter’s” bar was, but she wanted to investigate what everyone was talking about. However, when her 4 shot platter arrived things got interesting in a hurry. She’s only glad Angie, Cali, and Tabby aren’t here to witness this. -=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=- Character: Cassandra for V3 by me. The Bar for Poser by shamira Add ons for the Bar Eleganza by Guderun Glasses by Jestertjuuh I’m continuing with my effort to emulate real world lighting by using low level point lighting in places where the lights in a bar would actually be placed, 5 lights used in all. In real life I am a Field Services Technician supporting Point of Sale equipment. (Computers; Hardware, Software, and Networking essentially.) This image is actually based on a Real Life situation I witnessed in the course of doing my job. Edit 07/06/10 Note of clarification... I was at a shooter's bar on the waterfront and crawling on the floor to trace 2 Cat 5 cables amidst a bunch of spagetti that serves as thier network connections. The bar serves raw oysters in shot glasses, or on the half shell if you so request. A lady walks in with two of her friends, she was clearly not a local, and I think her friends were setting her up. I knew things were going to get fun when she ordered a 4 shot because she was worried about driving home if she had a six shooter. After the platter arrived, has one of the "drinks." After swallowing, she held up the second galss and asked the guy behind the bar, "What is this stuff?" I could never recreate the look of Shock/Horror/Disgust/Incredulety/Anxiety that crossed her face all at once, but it did give me inspiration for an image with the new catgirl character I was working on. I burried my head in what I was doing so she couldn't see me laughing.

I kinda favor: The Rum Tum Tugger is a Curious Cat: If you offer him pheasant he would rather have grouse. If you put him in a house he would much prefer a flat, If you put him in a flat then he'd rather have a house. If you set him on a mouse then he only wants a rat, If you set him on a rat then he'd rather chase a mouse Conceptually and practically your graphic is outstanding! Paul
