Description
I most the time do not post flowers. There was a big bumby bee on the flowers but I ran to get my camera and came back he was gone. So I took the photo and crop it to this.
I was looking at my photos and wonder what to post. Nothing looks good to me now but I know the feeling will go away. It was this flower or a big fire shot of some wood burning. To me both is boreing; all is boreing . But so is all my photos now. I even looked at my cheerlear shot I had one up close and it boreing.
I do not know what to look for anymore at photos or what to photo any more. I think even as ysvry thought for a second my last photo was "the little green alien people and that this foto wasproof of theire existence". I think even if a UFO came down with some green men in it and came out the ship to pose for me I would think it boreing. what a way to feel. But I know it will not last long and I be happy and laughing like a crazy man again soon. Thinking of wild and crazy things... seeing the wonder of objects and wonder why people do not post photos of the little geams that is walking on our bodies. I saw them on TV one time lol they are ugle for sure. Most like no one have a miroscope to put a camera on or the money for one to take the photos of the geams.
this is a mint and yes I did took the leaves and made tea with it before and I not dead. Make good tea too. Now black berry leaves will make a tea too but dry them for it will have a poison when it green and drying them the poison will be gone. Just like to warn people of the dangers of eating wild stuff. Like your roses you all post . they would make a good tea with the Petals but with all the poisons you put on the flower to keep the bugs off I would not make tea with the rose at all. Nothing wrong with photographying them.

Wonderful capture, Jocko! I know what you mean when you are talking about what to do now. the nice thing about you, you have your Bryce to play with. So if all else fails, fool around with your Bryce (that sounds wrong for some reason)

I am so glad you posted this boring picture as it is a beautiful capture and I see this flower growing and did not know it was mint. Now I do. So unlike school, not so boring learning something from you!

Chin up Jock, the feeling will go away and you will have a great time to capture things again. We all have this in one time in our life even more then once and always pass. Wonderful dreaming atmosphere on this flower picture.

oh you can tell a mint plant by it square stem and the leaves come out one on each side at the same level on the stem. So you see two leaves at a time and the next two leaves will be on the other sides of the stem

I guess we all have experienced times like that, Jocke, but they will pass and you will be your old happy self again, and who knows, maybe the mint teat helps too...smile... I like mint, I have some on my balcony every year and I put nothing on it, so I can eat the leaf as well as my parrot can eat them

Cool focus in this shot, Jock. As for being bored, have you thought of going down to the seashore and capturing images of the oil and tar balls sloshing up on the sand. That's kind of different. I've taken tons of photos in my lifetime, but my greatest wish is to capture a UFO. It doesn't even have to land; a shot looking up above would be just fine.

LOL I do not use spray or dust on my roses and I harvest the hips for tea every year. And it makes a nice jelly. And my cats love to eat the leaves. I have cultured mint in my yard. I make mint sauce for lamp and boiled potatoes and I use it in tea in the summer for a fresh taste. This is an excellent shot! You should take more flowers. I also now what it is to "dry up" with your art. I'm having the same trouble right now.

Hi Jocko, I think you've just passed a major milestone (2000) and are simply in need of a few days off. I've only been at Renderosity two years but I've taken off once for two weeks (surgery) and recently for almost a week (long drive). I've come back renewed and feeling "fit as a fiddle". Give it a try...you'll like it.

In a way, I can relate to what you are saying. I've taken thousands of pictures of the lava. I see them all the time and wonder if anyone is bored with what I post. I do enjoy the rush when I'm in the danger areas, its a challenge. But the lava pictures are basically the same. To break the repeated pictures, I'll take some flower pictures for a change or something different. As for your photo's, I'm never bored. I get to see different things, places and people thru your eyes. Sometimes I think everyone gets bored with their own pictures as we view them over and over and over again. But thru someone else eyes, its interesting..... Nice capture. Aloha
