Description

Hi there. Here they are - the smallest shepherds I know. They are very friendly with their cows and they always fight for them. If there are ladybirds or their larva coming to eat the cows, they will throw them away from the plants. Hope you like this little cow-herd.

What a wonderful macro! I have never seen this in real life, but a few times on TV. Quite a relationship they have. They look after the aphids and the ants get 'honey dew' from them.

Markus, you are getting REALLY good at these macro shots, I mean FREAKING AWESOME. This level of nature and macro photography is worthy of publication in National Geographic, and I truly belive that my friend! It is not a matter of if, but when!

Ha, that reminds me to get rid of an ant colony that is invading my garage. Great shot, though, and excellent theme. One does not see that interaction a lot, well known as it might be.
