Description
It was never an easy task. Guarding the old ruin temple. And most never saw the point it it, really.
It had long been bereft of any trace of magic, but those faithful to it's Goddess remained determined in their dedication to the crumbling stones and causeways that remained.
With the forest fast encroaching on the decrepit shrine, there were still those that held faith that their Goddess would return and reclaim her sanctuary, restoring it to it's former dazzling glory.
Emeraude, one of those faithful, diligently traced her path around the temple heart. Her faithful and powerful bow, fashioned from the ridge bones of an ancient bronze dragon, always at the ready. Tonight, she reasoned, it would be like every other night, an exercise in dedication with little action to show for it.
Suddenly, however, there was a rustling from the trees just at the border of her patrol. A disheveled looking Ranger from one of the outlying towns and his bedraggled steed crashed, gracelessly, through the undergrowth and ended up planted squarely in her sights.
The Ranger blinked, looked around, puzzled a long moment, then realization crystallized, and shot his horse what could only be considered a dirty look. "Wonderful." He griped mildly, but still softly, as if in reverence to his location...that and the silvery arrow pointed at his chest. "Looks like we're off the beaten path again."
A soft, amused smirk, lit Emeraude's lips as she eased up her draw on the bowstring and tipped her head, respectfully, to the lost Ranger. "Yea, and you aren't in Kansas anymore either."
It was the beginning of a...very unusual night.

I just won this BEAUTIFUL new character by Reciecup, Aura, and I have to tell you, she is a DELIGHT to work with! The fantasy skins and eyes are out of this world and her base textures are just sublimely beautiful. She's going to make a stunning Princess in her next appearance.
Being me, of course, I had to go with the fantasy angle and use this lovely emerald skinned beauty. And, it seemed only right to put her in the Aura costume as well. Be assured, you'll be seeing more of this lovely in future works! She's GORGEOUS!

ever been to kansas? I traveled through it in 2003... I was right in the middle of flat land with two tornados behind me and one in front - talk about not knowing what to do = lol.... just kept going and got home safe... but damn, they were close, needless to say, the Wizard of Oz tried to worn me - stay out of Kansas - lol
