Very good portrait. An artist may be, but I get associations in the direction of Gandalf in "Lord of the Ring" or may be more like Belgarad in David Eddings' "Belgariad". They were artists too in their way, but also mysterious and dangerous as well as wise. I think some of those qualities are in the portrayed man.

Actually, it looks most like Papa Hemingway - if he ever had long hair (which he didn't) - LOL! Really nice work with the textures, lighting and expression. This is a face with loads of character - very engaging really. Nice work!
