Hi Everyone, here is a photo of a spotted newt or red eft as it is sometimes called. My coworker picked it up when we were setting up staging today. Put it in the palm of his hand so I could get a photo. Hope you like it. Thanks for the view and any comment you take time to write will be appreciated. I remember finding these as a kid in our backyard. They were wonderful to catch and inspect. This is a great shot...they are not very big.

Wow. Thats a cool shot. For one it reminds me of my childhood trip to New Jersey when there were tons of newts all over. Had a blast collecting them. Second, this thing is cute as can be. Love to get my macro lens up on this little guy.
