Description

Hi there. Today a very special shot - as I look on this on my PC, after copying the shots from the cam, I see the brain (or what ever) in the head of this small larva. Not sure what kind of butterfly it will be but I think this could be some kind of Pieridae. What do you think - is that a brain?! Have a great day and thank you so much for all the support.

At the very least, it is a happy face! Amazing to think this gelatinous coil will turn into a butterfly; it is a wonderful world!

No brain I think!, But a very beautiful looking eating-machine, more of a stomach with a face!

It is wonderful to see this in macro! So much detail - that brain is programmed - eat, sleep, grow.... Clive

What a marvelous creature! I love the "brain" in the head; it reminds me of an alien from old fashioned science fiction movies...you always see their brains for some reason! Great colors in this shot also! This is super!
