Description
It has been hot hot hot in the western corner of New York, in fact most of the north east of US is suffering from extreme heat. A walk in the creek was just what we needed to cool off. So Murphy, the camera, and I went for a little cooling walk-about.
So Nancy, hope some of this heat warms you! Even down in the creek it was hot, but the cool water felt so good on my feet, and Murphy sure enjoyed getting wet and cool too!
I thank you all so much for all the wonderful comments, and the faves, on the previous posting. Still working on catching up, I think it's a life's work, LOL, but a pleasant work, seeing all the beautiful art you've created!

We've been suffering a lot from the recent heat wave in western Europe too, and I understand what you must have been through, but finding this little oasis of freshness was a gorgeous and well-deserved compensation for you, I guess! A superb capture, Rita!

me as european when i hear new york i think of course on nypd,manhattan central park 5th avenue,maybe kojak lol, and all that. i was aware that there are surroundings because new york is not only the city but also a state. i was just not imagining that the places around are so nice as you demonstrate in your gallerie.indeed i would say a huge tribute to NY and the surroundings.fav.
