Hello !
My name is Helle. I live in Denmark on the Island, Zealand. I have a husband and two sons and three grandchildren, so I am a happy person.
I like many kinds of art and I try to limit myself, but I dont succeed very well. I love my PSP9 and I think I use it every day. I like to draw, paint and experiment on canvas or paper and I wish I had time do it every day. My biggest wish is, that there would be 48 hours instead of the poor 24 a day. I just dont think it will ever happen ;)
A fantastic new world opened for me, when I was Introduced to Renderosity for the first time.  I am very grateful to be a part if this site.

Fantastic photo!!!!!!!!! these lizards live also in my garden. The other day I had the luck to be able to photograph one. Unfortunately not in a as attractive pose as yours!

Great shot. He was probably in a bad mood due to all those ticks all over him. Hopefully he looses them when he sheds his skin!

Wow!! This is stellar, Helle! The lighting is absolutely magnificent, and youv'e caught him at just the right moment! Perhaps he will await a fly! :) Such remarkable colours and texture on this little guy...... I must admit, always been very afraid of these reptiles; although more and more am realizing they're not so bad, and so very beautiful to look at!

There were 6 of them and this was the aggressive one, eh? You know, there's always one. The sourpuss! The cool thing about this little guy is he reminds me of the bearded dragons I became accustomed to at a hostel in Prague. They were gentle and friendly, but there was one who was aggressive and never posed for photos; this one reminds me of that little bearded dragon, and yes, it was the smallest one. Maybe he felt like he had to compensate? I think this little guy might have been aggressive because of those ticks...they would irritate me to no end, especially since ticks are annoying and so rude. It's strange to see ticks on a reptile; I thought they only fed on mammal blood or even bird blood, but not reptile blood since reptiles have "cold" blood. Well...I guess it's warm blood on a warm day. Anyway, this is a brilliant picture and I'm happy these little green beauties are protected in Denmark! If you breed them, will you get a tax break? And about those ticks: do they come off when the reptile sheds his skin? It would be quite nice if they did. Okay, I have written a book instead of a comment, so now I am going to shut up. This is a great picture, though. I love it!

I love this image! Stunning detail, color and lighting! Wonderful capture of his less than congenial nature! Beautiful curve to his body and excellent capture of the soft pink of the inside of his mouth! Superb! I was curious and looked up lizards and ticks. Ticks do have an appetite for reptiles. I found out an interesting thing. According to several sites, the Western Fence Lizard which lives in the far western US, has something in its blood that destroys the Lyme disease spirochetes carried by the ticks. In areas with Western Fence Lizards there is a much lower incidence of Lyme Disease.
