Just a bit of Friday fun!
Bong had gone over a fuel line and would have to talk his way out of this one.
My Explanation!
Two months ago a saw a picture by Chipka which made me have a closer look at Chicago via Google Earth. I found this bridge just up river from the scissor bridge he posted 28th April
Just lately I purchased the sacred barge and was looking for free photos of rivers as a background
and I came across this picture. (hopefully that bridge)
I thought that I would make a picture with them as there was a story there!
just added the beaver for another twist!

Oh my god! This is exquisite! WOW! Thank you for the dedication! It's quite an honor! And wow! What an image! I like your version of the bridge better than the one over the Chicago River. There's more going on here and I love the whole environment and the characters are priceless! I'm gonna have to catch up on things, because this IS a superbly brilliant, absolutely enjoyable image...even without the dedication! Superb craftsmanship abounds in this gem. I want to find those bridges now...the vertical lift bridge is a bit different from the monstrosity we have near Chinatown. I like this one better...it's more graceful and has less cluttered lines and it works so perfectly in the image. I love the way the background and foreground are woven together--mostly with colors, and the "storybook" feel of this is really quite refreshing! Brilliant work!

Bong isn't really lost, he's on the Willamette river in Portland, OR. That verticle lift bridge is the one they call "the Steel Bridge". ;)Well-composed and amusing scene.
