I don't know how uneven it is but it is definitely odd. :) Very surreal. The laces look as if they are spewing from the pipe which made me think of the BP oil spill. If only it was shoe laces instead of oil. Stellar image.

I absolutely love the way you blow apart the old shoe, using its parts in unexpected ways. Each piece becomes a compositional component ... its original function is unimportant. Your poetry has the same quality, and it goes so perfectly with this image! It's all there, and letting go sees the whole.

Mysterious atmosphere and mood, and yet something about is most inviting and sensatinal! I love the work witht he colours here, and the lighting... such a subtle glow right in the centre... makes me wonder what lies ahead! An inspiring composition!
