You might spot me at Kirra Beach, the South-Eastern end of the Gold Coast, Australia,  if you like beach walking like myself... but there is more ! My son Jeff (*jif3d*, here at Rendo, it helps to advertise, ooops)... he took this pic of me in 2000, then manipulated it in photo-shop and it's still one of my favourites. Just very briefly about my past... *born in East Prussia; *grew up in Berlin, West Germany; *migrated to "OZ" in 1960, (not the Wizard of Oz) but...AUSTRALIA ! I guess  I was more into '2D' since early childhood, and thinking that my son Jeff may have inherited some of my artistic skills, because he translated them into '3D'. I am hooked on photography, since I discovered cameras... that's it in a nutshell. BTW - one of my fav.quotes.... ** I cannot give you the formula for success, but I can give you the formula for failure - which is trying to please everybody !**                                              that's a wrap... Cheers Brigitte.

Art teaches us that distortion, decay and ruin are sources of art; and boy does this bring that home. This looks almost like a pixellated ruined television picture---it's a digital 'breakup', and it's glorious. We can see the parachuter in front, and we can see some kind of rocks; but the effect is like a futuristic city, with amazing towers, very modernist formations, the kind of line-intersections that Frank Lloyd Wright loved. And to see the darker sections intersect with the lighter ones---we see worlds interacting with other worlds. And I love the pure undiluted "sky" hues in the upper left and right corners---pure graphic expression, unchanged undiluted. This is a knockout. Thank you for sending me here, I love this piece! (If I've given you links to Frank Lloyd Wright before, forgive the repeats. But if not, you'll see why your piece reminded me of him. The first 3 are his window designs---stained glass. The last is his most celebrated early work from his "prairie style" ((because the prairie style was developed for the prairie states)). It's in Chicago, and I went to grad school right next to this gem ((at Univ. of Chicago)). I saw it every day. Anyway, when you look at the line collisions and abstract patterns you created above, you can see why Wright comes to mind. Since I know you like Mondrian, I assume you'll like these.
