My name is Ursula and I live in the southeast of Bavaria (Germany) together with my husband and our little White West Highland Terrier called 'Ruebe'.Â
I am born in nineteenhundredfourtyseven. Â
Â
Reading, art, gardening, collecting stones, my house and taking photos are my passion. Certainly I have forgotten something....
Â
I love nature and above all the "invisibles" which become visible only by Macro photography. Very briefly, I am curious! And I also always like to know what I have taken a photo of.
Â
I am  very grateful to my son Adrian  (  January Gallery of the Month 2009   - Chaos 911 )      that he left me his 'old' camera. Moreover, you owe it to him that you can see here my pictures. He has encouraged to me to join RR.
Â
A lot of fun while looking at my "small world"!
Â
Â
If not differently mentions, are all photos from my garden.....

Wonderful capture - yes, from the photo I also thought he was history!

What a magnificent photo! Have you noticed that the most magnificent things in life are probably also the smallest things: little birds, insects, little-tiny mushrooms? I love things like that! This is a fantastic capture! I love the spread feathers and the flat posture: it looks like sunbathing AND cooling off at the same time. Animals are so intriguing!

This is great Ursula...I have one in my gallery doing the same thing. I, too, thought he was ill at first...just drying feathers and I understand this gets rid of mites too.

I saw a whole flock of barn swallows doing this once....I thought they were all about to expire....but they eventually got up and went on about their business....wonderful capture!!!!!!

Alles Gute, Bernd

I'm pleased he was sunbathing and catching the rays.
