Description

I have not posted in a long time so I thought I better do something about that. The wave is a photo I took 2 years age hence the Photo Manipulation Genre. The foreground stuff (every thing this side of the wave) is a texture I made using Genetica. I bought Genetica recently and thought. I would like to simulate crushed Abalone shell on some kind of simulated sand or rock that looks beach like. Then I took the generated texture and used pixplant2 to make the color and displacement map. Then applied those to a Vue ground plane and used displacement. ( not sure if ground plane has geometry that can be effected by displacement or not. I could just be seeing bump. Anyway I rendered that in Vue. Then combined that with my wave photo in Photoshop. Hope you likey! Please leave comments, even though I can't return comments I love to read em when ever I get the chance. Thanks God Bless

I love 3D stuff. Especially Vue I love Photography. I love making new textures. I love using filters and plugins in photoshop. So this was fun. I may do more composites. I'm looking forward to developing better composting skills in photoshop. No one software application does everything so I'll be using things generated in various apps, favoring Vue and bringing it all together in photoshop.
