When converting to Black and White you could try using the RED filter setting, it gives very flattering skin tones, although the lips go quite pale. In the pre-digital days I used to use a red filter and get the model to wear green lipstick!!

The frame work looks like a motion picture film reel... the curtain gives me a feel she's inside a house looking out and spots you with a camera - She doesn't look startled, so I guess you're not going to jail - lol Looks good.
